Trainings are available for all staff, parents, and other professionals interested in learning more about autism and how to work with students with autism. Trainings will help
All staff who work closely with students with autism are required to participate in workshops and trainings:
Parent trainings are also required for teachers to initiate with the parent's of their students. It is extremely important that teachers and parents work together as a team in order for progress to be made across environments. The suggestion is that parents meet with the teachers at least every other month, during school hours, to observe their child's daily routine and activities. Workshops and training topics include:
Reading with your child Motivation and the Use of Rewards
Basic Math 101 Emotional and Social behaviors
Learning Styles Setting Boundaries and Power Struggles
The Power of Play Observing and Recording Behavior

- Autism Workshop
- National Inclusion Project - Let's All Play
- Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT)
