Grants
Grants are important to educational programs such as this one. Teachers in the program will write grants to the following foundations, associations and corporations in order to obtain necessary materials, training, opportunities and programs.
Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism
Funds education and advocacy programs for individuals with Autism. The average grant size is $10,000 to $20,000. This foundation also support s therapeutic and social skills programs.
Within the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism there is the Allison Keller iPad program. This program provides iPads to school that show evidence of a curriculum where iPads are being used.

CVS Caremark
- CVS Caremark – provides grants of up to $5,000 for educational programs for students with disabilities under the age of 21 that “promote independence among children with disabilities including physical and occupational therapies, speech and hearing therapies, assistive technology and recreational therapies”.
Let’s All Play
Let’s All Play – National Inclusion Project provides the framework for inclusive recreational programs for students with and without disabilities. The goal of Let’s All Play is to provide students with disabilities with the same recreational experiences and opportunities that children without disabilities have.
Family First
Family First - National Autism Association - provides parents of children with Autism, a means to access counseling. The four goals of the program include: provide couples with access to counseling, provide couples with financial aid for counseling, raise awareness about the divorce rate within our community and around the country, provide a solid support system for all couples. The program focuses on helping keep families of children with Autism together. Acceptance can offer families with a

American Honda Foundation
American Honda Foundation provides grant funding for “youth development and scientific education” in public schools. The grant range is $20,000 to $75,000 over a one year period of time.
PAUSE4kids
PAUSE4kids provides scholarships and grants to programs for children with special needs. The maximum amount is $500 per child per year.
